I have no words today. Garry was one of the most unique individuals I have ever known. He believed in me as a vocalist and really helped give me the confidence to continue on for 25 years . I have so many memories of playing music with him and more laughs than I can count. I know you all will be hurting for some time. There truly is not another Garry. All of his musucian friends will miss him immensely as well

Garry my friend, it was a pleasure knowing you. I know we will meet again in guitar heaven. Even though I never played, I most enjoyed watching and listening to you through the years. You always brought up that you learned to play pool in my dad's pool room when we first met. We'll have to shoot a game next time we meet! My prayers are for your loving family and friends who like me, are going to miss you. You were always a true gentleman and accomplished guitarist.
