   GLANDORF - Michael J. Maag, 68, of Glandorf died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at The Meadows of Kalida. He  was born August 19, 1945 in Lima to the late Albert and Leona (Schmersal) Maag. On July 5, 1969 he married Angela Hurst who survives in Glandorf.
   Also surviving are 3 children: Kim (Ken) Redman, Paul (Michelle) Maag, and Mandy (Nick) Iannotta all of Glandorf; 4 grandchildren: Elsa Redman, Brooklynn Maag, Chase Maag, and Lucas Iannotta; a brother: Clayton (Ellen) Maag of Leipsic; 2 sisters: Bernice Drerup of Delphos and Georgie (Art) Westrick of New Bavaria; and a sister-in-law, Joanne (Frank) Kuhlman of Ottawa. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Addalynn Maag; 2 sisters: Jeanette (Jake) Dangler and Carol (Moe) Parys; brother: William Maag; and brother-in-law, Leo Drerup.
   Mike was a bricklayer and a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. He was a member of International Bricklayers of Ohio Local 3 and a former member of the Ottawa Eagles. Mike enjoyed fishing and loved being with his family and friends, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
   Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
