Ryan R. Wolford

   LEIPSIC - Ryan R. Wolford, 36, of Leipsic died at 6:39 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. He was born August 14, 1980 in Findlay to Richard and Pam (Schey) Wolford. They survive in Leipsic.

   Also surviving are his sister: Elaina Wolford of Leipsic; his brother: Brandon (Brittany McDonald) Wolford of Lexington, KY; paternal grandmother: Mary Lou Wolford of Leipsic; an uncle: Steve Wolford of Toledo; an aunt: Karen Nelson of Ashland, OR; and his best friend: Robbie Maynard. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Kenneth and Katherine Jean Schey; his paternal grandfather: Hollis Wolford; and his uncle: Randy Wolford.

   Ryan graduated high school in 1999 and worked in the workshop of Brookhill Industries in Ottawa. He was a longtime member of the Putnam County Public Eagles Special Olympics. Ryan participated in track and field events and bowling. He loved going to Columbus and competing at State and has quite a display of medals for his achievements.He attended Leipsic United Methodist Church.  

   Ryan made his family proud everyday. He was a kindhearted soul that never met a stranger and had the most wonderful sense of humor. He loved fishing, going for walks, playing with his beloved dog, Bella, and most of all riding his bicycle.

   A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Rev. Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Burial will follow in McComb Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. 

   Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Public Eagles Special Olympics or to Putnam County Pet Pals.
